South Africa tourist places and cities
Cape Town, at the southern tip of the country, is certainly one of the most beautiful cities of the world. Sir Francis Drake said, on rounding the cape in the 15th century, that this was surely the “Fairest Cape in all the World”. Table Mountain draws millions each year to the shores of the Cape and 400 years of history call to weary travellers to indulge themselves in a feast for the eyes, ears, nose, mouth and spirit.
Cape Town weather is either (a) very lousy – mostly in winter – or (b) superb – mostly in summer. The hot summer sun is one of the reasons that the beaches are among the best in the world.
Johannesburg in the north of the country is by far the wealthiest city in Africa, with huge investments in property development, mining and manufacturing.
Its population originates from all corners of the globe and the continent. The city is alive with a myriad of cultures and the fast pace of life lures visitors to its streets with promises of a thousand unique experiences.
The climate is mild and dry, and in the summer, tropical thunderstorms rule the air.

Durban beach, South Africa
Durban on the east coast is the playground of the Indian Ocean. With a warm and humid climate, it’s practically summer all year round.
